A coastal identity and a website that turn quiet word-of-mouth into steady enquiries.
Sandbanks Concierge looks after second homes along one of the most expensive stretches of coastline in the country — Sandbanks, Canford Cliffs, Lilliput and the wider Poole Harbour. It was started by a second-home owner who kept getting caught by the “could you just” jobs: meter readings, contractor quotes, waiting in for a delivery.
The business grew almost entirely on word of mouth, and the original website hadn’t kept pace with it. It read like a list of chores rather than a premium service, and gave an owner two hundred miles away little reason to trust it with the keys to a waterfront house.
Fabricatr was brought in to rebuild the whole digital presence — positioning, design, copy, build and the search foundations that make it findable by the people it is actually for.
THE APPROACH
The category sells services. What owners are really buying is the ability to stop thinking about the house — so the site leads with reassurance rather than a task list, and explains everything in plain English.
We kept the client’s own blue and built a restrained coastal system around it: generous white space, Gambetta for headlines against General Sans for everything else, and real photography of the actual coastline rather than stock interiors.
Trust had to be shown rather than claimed. Local landmarks are named, the venues and marinas the team works alongside are shown, and client testimonials are given a page of their own instead of being scattered around as decoration.
THE SOLUTION
A complete site: home, thirteen individually explained services, an honest founder story, a clients page, a journal and clear routes to enquiry — plus a dedicated page for Sandbanks Building Co, the construction and project-management side of the business.
Search was built in rather than bolted on. Journal articles answer the questions second-home owners actually type, written around real local terms — Salterns, Cobb’s Quay, Old Harry, Branksome Park — with clean keyword slugs and a structure that reads clearly to both people and AI answers.
The whole site runs on a CMS the team can update themselves, and Fabricatr continues to handle hosting and maintenance.
