A design-led e-commerce experience for the UAE market.
Fabricatr was brought in to shape the brand’s digital presence and create an e-commerce experience that felt modern, distinctive and appropriate for a diverse international audience.
The direction combines expressive typography, confident colour and playful art direction with a simple, highly functional shopping experience. The aim was to give the brand personality without allowing the design to compete with the products themselves.
THE APPROACH
Greeting cards are an emotional purchase in an increasingly digital world. UAE Greetings needed to make the experience of discovering and choosing a card feel more personal, relevant and enjoyable while competing with the convenience of instant digital communication.
The UAE also presents a uniquely diverse audience, meaning the brand needed to feel culturally relevant without becoming overly specific to one demographic, occasion or visual style.
From a commercial perspective, the website needed to make a large and evolving product catalogue simple to browse while keeping the journey from discovery to checkout as frictionless as possible.
THE SOLUTION
We created a bold but intentionally simple visual system that allows the personality of UAE Greetings to come through across every customer touchpoint.
The e-commerce experience was structured around effortless product discovery, with clear categorisation, strong product imagery and an interface designed to make browsing feel quick and intuitive.
Typography, colour and graphic elements were used to create moments of personality throughout the experience while maintaining enough restraint for individual card designs to remain the focus.
The finished platform brings brand and commerce together in one cohesive system — giving UAE Greetings a distinctive digital identity and a scalable foundation for new occasions, collections and products.
